ODENVY is the eight episode of the second season of Quantico.
Synopsis
At the Farm, Lydia and Owen teach the group about the necessity of lying and cutting off relationships. Perfect timing for Alex, since she is feeling disconnected from Ryan personally and professionally. In the future, Alex and company attempt to destroy the biological weapon.
Plot
Past
Owen and Lydia allow the recruits to celebrate Thanksgiving outside of the Farm only if they come up with a cover story to give to a relative. Everyone succeeds, accept for Dayana, who refuses to turn on her family. Harry visits his MI6 handlers in London and tells them about everyone at the Farm.
Ryan, Dayana, and León are all contacted by the AIC, who instructs them to kill an innocent park ranger. León later tells Shelby that they had him kill an innocent man. The AIC warns them that if they told anyone, they would be killed.
Present
Alex, Dayana, Sebastian, Harry, and León set off to disable the biological weapon. Dayana, who was injured, stays behind with León. Alex and Sebastian discover that the CLF were always planning to set the biological weapon inside the building. Once the five reunite, they are all captured by the CLF. One member pulls Alex away while the others are taken back into the building. Alex suddenly attacks the CLF member guarding her, Ryan. He then pulls her behind a lazar, warning her that the biological weapon will be released if she crossed the line.
Meanwhile, Nimah interrogates Raina. She explains to Raina that she joined the CLF to liberate people from America. In addition, she also experienced the prejudice and joined the terrorist group to stop it. Nimah later urged Raina to join the CLF, stating that she would die if she didn't cooperate. Raina refused, saying that Nimah is her shadow.
The military takes over the FBI building. The commander, General Richards, insists on ordering a drone strike to end the crisis. However, Miranda an Shelby oppose her plan. Shelby tells Richards that Alex can save the hostages. She then agrees to give Alex 48 minutes to end the crisis.
