Seitzman resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children. In the past years, Seitzman has writing and producing television dramas under a deal at ABC Studios.
His first created series, Intelligence, aired in 2014. In 2015, Seitzman also produced the feature film, Incarnate, for Blumhouse and Universal Pictures, starring Aaron Eckhart and directed by Brad Peyton. In the same year, Seitzman created his second television series titled Code Black which currently airs on CBS.
As a feature screenwriter, Seitzman’s best known work is the Warner Bros. release “North Country” which received two Academy Award nominations for Best Actress in a Leading Role (Charlize Theron) and Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Frances McDormand). Other features of Seitzman’s include “Here On Earth,” starring Josh Hartnett and Leelee Sobieski, “Farmer and Chase” which he also directed, starring Ben Gazzara and Lara Flynn Boyle, as well as uncredited work on a number of films including “The Brave One” “Angel Eyes” and “The Vow”.
On June 21, 2017, ABC announced that Seitzman was cast as the primary showrunner in the third season of Quantico, which is set to consist of 13 episodes. The upcoming season is set to premiere in 2018.
