Anne Heche is an actress and writer, best known for her roles in Donnie Brasco (1997), Wag the Dog (1997), Return to Paradise (1998), and Six Days Seven Nights (1998).


Anne Heche was born on May 25, 1969 in Aurora, Ohio, the youngest of five children of Nancy (née Prickett) and Donald Joseph Heche. Heche's family moved a total of eleven times during her childhood; at one point, they lived in an Amish community.

Heche's first high-profile role came in the 1998 romantic adventure Six Days, Seven Nights, where she starred opposite Harrison Ford. Later in the same year, Heche landed a second starring role shortly thereafter as Vince Vaughn's love interest in the acclaimed drama Return to Paradise.

In the following years, Heche appeared in many television series and movies including the remake of Psycho (1998), Ally McBeal (2001), John Q (2002), Men in Trees (2008), Spread (2009) and That's What She Said (2012).

In 2015, Heche was cast in the recurring role of a criminal profiler, Dr. Susan Langdon on the ABC thriller Quantico.
